Anemone for Clownfish ?

Hi i was wondering the best anemones to get for my clownfish ( common clown)? A guy at my LFS told me that he will not pair up with any type of anemone. Is that entirely true ?

Common clown? Are you referring to A. Percula or A. Ocellaris. Those can be pretty common at your Petcos.

Thats incorrect. You will never see a clownfish in the wild without an anemone. All clownfish have certain types of anemones to host. However, sometimes clownfish refuse to host anemones in tanks but usually most do.

I love seeing clowns and 'nems together, it really brings the clown character out. Anemone gets fed too.

I have a LTA, have had BTAs before but I feel the former was a better combination.
