So, We've had this GTBA for a little over a year now. We got it when it was no bigger than a pencil eraser and now it's fairly large, about the size of a softball. It hasn't moved in about a year...until last week. None of the tank parameters have changed, and nothing has been added. The only change we have observed is that the clowns are starting to exhibit hosting behavior, both in the anemone and in the frogspawn. So, maybe they ****ed it off. We had been keeping an eye on the anemone to see where it was going, and making sure it stayed hitched and as unstressed as possible.
When I went downstairs to feed the tank last night I couldn't find him anywhere....my original thought was "Oh crap I killed his anemone) So I checked the ammonia levels right away to see if the anemone was dying somewhere in the tank....Well, levels were at 0 and were still at 0 this morning, but the anemone is still nowhere to be found.
At what point do I tear the rocks apart looking for it? Or should I just leave it alone, and monitor the ammonia?
Thanks for any assistance.
