Hi all

4 days ago, I got me a brand new shiny BTA....i put it I I tank a within a minute it was stuck to t LR and opened up nicely....it then started started move.....moved to the back of the tank so I decided to give it a little push with with powerhead.......low and behold /she moved.....unfortunately now it is under a ledge in a cave.....any suggestions? Should I just leave it be and see what happens? It is a beautiful specimen an an the end of the day, I don't really care wh it is in my tank tank it would sure be nice for it to at least be somewhere where my clowns will find it and host it....

Thoughts?

I find lighting to be the biggest reason my anemones move. (I have 14 of them in my 75g.) they seem to prefer my T5s (which are towards the back) over my leds (which are in the front). So many of them move to the back. Healthy and happy, just not where I would want them. It's been like this for more than a year.
A couple days ago I moved the lights a bit, shifting the T5s forward as much as possible while minimizing the space lighted by the leds. The next day, one of my nems that has been facing the back, moved to front and center. Going to see if this is a trend.....
But I'm like you, my main goal is for them to be healthy and happy.

I would not try to move yours for a while. Give him time to acclimate to your system.
I'm no expert. Just sharing my experience.

BTW, where are you in Canada?

I am in Ottawa.....not too many good places around here to get quality live stock...I find Big Al's blows so I do most of my shopping at Marinescapes which is a great store. How about you? Where u at?

I'm in Windsor. We don't have a great choice of LFS here, either. We depend on our local reefers and forums for sales, swaps, assistance and loan of equipment as needed and available. It's good thing so many reefers are generous and helpful! This hobby is too difficult and expensive to go it alone. Lol
Good luck with your nem!
I'll post a picture of my tank, once I take the time to figure out how to do it on this site. Nice variety of anemones, all doing well. I can easily text you a photo. If you're interested, message me your cell#.

Right on, just sent you a PM with my texter number....i Love this site....probably the best SW site on the net.
