HELLO,
Months ago i bought a Rose BTA which as u know is pink and white. Now, since a recent algea problem it is Brown and Pink. Is there a way to make it look the way it used to and if so, how?
Any help will be greatly appreciated. THANKS!!!

When I first brought it home it was more like white and pink. Recently I've been getting alot of algae on the sand and replace the fans with a bigger one for more water flow thinking there was not enough flow. The last couple of days I noticed the BTA looked alittle brownish towards the base with the pink tips. Wondering if this is normal or should I worry.

Pic not working for me, but with nems; white = bad and brown = good! :D

Sounds like it's recovering from being bleached.

Exactly... white usually means the nem is bleached, but a brown is a good since since is means the zooxanthellae population is increasing. Good luck!

as everyone says, it's recovering, so good for you. Feed it 1-2 times a week to help it recover quicker.

Thanks to everyone for the input!! I traded a ribbon eel and $50.00 for the BTA. I guess they got over on me saying it was very rare.
