Hey guys, I have been doing salt water tanks for years. really did FOWLR tanks. But slowy switched over to coral. And love it! Have been doing it for the last year or two. But I always have hard trouble with anemones! I dont know why! They always die on me. Any suggestions to why? My lighting is great Ai sol Blue LEDs and my water levels are always in check and pretty close to on point. Is there one thing that they really cant stand that tends to upset them and kill them off that I need to watch closer for?

What is your feeding schedule for the nems? Have they ever hosted any clowns?

Most nems won't survive just on light and whats in the water. You have to feed them, frequently too. Water quality matters also.

I disagree on the feeding part.. you dont "have" to feed your nem, let alone frequently..that would be more of an opinion.. Its true you can feed them and feed them often and they may love it but i have a mag for 2 years now, i have only fed it about 2-3 times and its color is amazing, its growing like crazy and i see signs it may be ready to split..

I do feed my tank heavy at times so it may catch some food here and there but i dont directly spot feed it..

I do agree your water quality has to be pretty clean, but not perfect. I think its imp. to run carbon when you have a nem, just an opinion there ..

I keep my water params generally around
