Anemone hiding

SO I have had my green bta in my tank now for 3 weeks. The first few days, everything was fine. I placed it in the upper half of my tank(running orbit marine led's at 100%). It walked. It walked and hid under rocks. After consulting with my lfs, i left it alone for about a week. Then I couldnt take it anymore. It needed to be fed and i had to remove it. Of course I gently massaged the foot and it released. After feeding, i put it in the lower half facing so i could see it. Not 30 min later..it walked into another cave barely able to be seen. Am I doing something wrong here? Are my lights too strong? The tank is a 46 bow with only 1 orbit light. The manual says the very bottom should only be getting around 50 PAR and the top only 250. Parameters are all good and all my other corals and fish are doing good. Its just frustrating because I want to see what I spent money on..like everyone else lol

Not an expert but sounds like it was looking for a place it liked. They can be finicky. What do you mean when you said it needed to be fed so you took it out?

it hadn't had anything to eat in almost 2 weeks. where it was located(very bottom of the aquarium behind rocks and everything), i couldn't blast it with mysis.

the bta i had would hide in caves and reach out for the light. they almost never go to that "great viewing" place in your tank. as for feeding it, you shouldn't have to feed a new nem till its happy and healthy in its new home
