Anemone ID please?

I have seen solid green mini carpets, so blue wouldn't be hard to believe. Regardless the anemone you have is not a hosting anemone.

Like others have said, the pattern of where the tentacles don't appear on the disk is very characteristic of a maxi mini and not at all characteristic of a haddoni.

It is 100% a maxi and I'm willing to put down money on it.

I have over 20 maxi's (I know that's not a lot) but I DO know what one looks like :deadhorse: This IS a maxi....and time will tell.

I only guessed S.Gig at first since I have a purple one at the time of the post i didnt even thank Haddoni, either way, maxi, haddoni, LTA, BTA, or whatever it turns out to be , it was a cool find i thought

i would say s. haddoni, because it looks to me like its buried its foot in the sand next to the rock base. typical of hadoni anemone's.

These are not mine but the pics were posted publically so I dont think there's a problem posting them.

First there's one thats very similar color wise - the second is one sitting like the OP's. They are both 100% maxi's. I'm SO sorry they are huge...can't seem to shrink them.

how are you soooo sure?

The tentacle pattern on the pedal disk is characteristic of maxi. If you look a the edge rim of the pedal disk it appears the tentacles end in a point which is also common for maxi mini, at least the two I own. My haddoins tentacles are rounded at the tip for the outer rim.
