im trying to find out what kind anemone is this, my LFSt old me it is LTA and wont grow very big, but someone told me it is ritteri and it will become HUGE!
(sorry for the HUGE picture)
i havent seen a LTA with such white tips before, very similar to a magnifica anemone. but just from a top down look, and the way the tenticles are spaced from the mouth, im going to suggest it is a long tenticle anemone.
a picture of the base or foot would help us make a positive id.
It looks like it possibly is a riterri. If so, it is definately bleached and needs some attention. With good lighting and feedings it should do ok. Pink skunks seem to like them the most. Here is an attached photo of 4 skunks hosting a riterri.
It does look odd, but I can't say it is an H. magnifica unless you can get a shot of the base. Its positioning in the tank makes me want to say no. It doesn't appear bleached at all to me--I think the tips are merely pigmented that way.
