Anemone ID?

Hi everyone! I just purchased a beautiful Maroon Clownfish and the anemone he loved. It was sold to me as a "bulb anemone" but I don't think so. Do you have any ideas? I know it is small, and my pictures arent the best, so I understand if you can't ID.
Thanks

It looks like a BTA (( E. quadricolor )), and a very very bleached one at that. Plus, given its size compared to the clown, you have an uphill battle to bring it back to health.

What lights do you have?

Going to have to try to keep the clown away from it. Maroons are known for "loving" anemones to death when they are smaller then the fish -- the anemone should be 3 times the size of the maroon.

fantastic :( I took the anemone also, because the clown seems so happy with it (I know they dont need it... but) I just got it today, so it was bleached when I got it. For lights I have the Nova Extreme Pro. Is that sufficient or should I take the anemone back to the store? I paid $60 for him, don't want to kill it. Anything else to do to bring it back to health, aside from keeping the clown away?
thank you

What size tank, and how many bulbs are in that fixture?

Honestly, for $60 I would take that anemone back, and think about getting another LFS. They shouldn't be selling an anemone in that condition. Sure then can be brought back from that condition, but if you can take it back I would.

Thing to remember about hosting anemones --- white isn't good.

I'd agree with the return. That's an expensive buy for a "bleached" specimen. But your lights (as long as their not extremely old) will work out fine with an anemone in the future...

Thanks everyone. I guess I'll take it back. DARN IT! Out here in Montana about my only choices are the guy I got this from and PetCo... I guess online might turn out to be a better option.
I know he only has compact flourescent lights, so maybe the anemone just didn't have enough light.
There are 6 bulbs in my fixture. Only about a month old.
3-54 watt 10,000°K
3-54 watt 460 nm actinic
72 gal tank

Clowns101 that is a good way to think of it. I would be returning it to its death. I guess I will try my hand at nursing it back to health. And I will be sure to let my LFS guy know that he sold me a sick nem and I'm not happy about it!

You are going to have to do something to keep that clown away from it. It is already in a weakened state -- being bleached -- and that clown could very well push it over the edge and cause it to die.

Try direct feeding it a soft krill pellet, or fresh (frozen) Mysis shrimp. Place flake or whatever fish food you have in the top of the tank to distract the clown, and place the krill or mysis directly onto the nems tentacles. The fresh food helps them fight back from stress. I did this with my RBTA and florida Condi, both bought from Petco, and they are now doing fabulous.
