I was at the lfs today and I saw the most beautiful anemone I've ever seen in the store. And the most healthy. The fact that I've seen so many dead when I'm there and purchased one just for the sake of ones life before, I wanted to know what type it was because if its compatible with my clowns I may get it before it starts to go down hill there. I stupidly didn't take a picture but I remember how it looked exactly. It had an orange, and i mean orange like the color of my ocellaris', foot. The tentacles were a greyish color with purple tips. The tentacles were long. I plan on starting a tank just for my clowns soon and I have become very interested in anemones and would really like to get this one before it needs help if it is compatible. Sorry for no picture, i also tried finding pictures of one that looked like it and i couldn't so thanks for any help!

Thanks that was really helpful! I looked at the pictures and it looked very similar the only difference being color. I have never seen any anemone that looked like the one in the store.

It was next to a condy and looked like a totally different anemone (except for how brightly colored the foot was). I found a picture of what it looks like im about to post it.

That picture is that of a H. magnifica. I think you really need to post a picture of the actual anemone. There are there are just too many things that I look at that can only convey by someone who is familiar to ID these anemone.
You describing it is like and blind men trying to describe how an elephant look like.

I understand describing it is nothing like a picture of the actual anemone. I saw this one today and have become infatuated with it. Just really interested in figuring out what it is so I can do some research. Again, I know it doesn't help but that picture is an exact replica of the one im describing except smaller, so im going to agree with h. Magnifica. I will post a picture of the one im wanting tomorrow.
