I picked up a condy today, I know this type of anemone is not for me but for $6 i see it as practice. Not cruel kill it practice but I seriously bought it to practice feeding and to make sure my setup is up to snuff before I buy a BTA.
The reason for my thread though is that i was wondering if these anemones can be isolated to a rock in the sand. This fella is about 1" diameter at the base and spreads out about the size of a baseball, smallest one they had. It came on a rock about the size of a baseball. I put it in the middle of the sand and am crossing my fingers it stays there. If not its getting traded or given away.
20L with 15g sump 4x24 T5HO on left side of tank to give the mushroom colnies on the right a bit of shade. The condy is right under the light.
