To elaborate, other online vendors prefer to ship with a lot of extra water, say 4x as much as normal, to account for waste. But I've seen many, many wholesalers ship their nems dry, and it was once common practice to do so.

I do not want to give the company bad press as I've had nothing but great experiences from them. Anemones are sometimes shipped dry and there are different schools of thought on this. This was my first occasion and while it did not turn out well, it also could be more on the shipping company as I dont know what happened with the package until it was at my door.
It's unfortunate the little guy did not make it, but I'm hoping for some form of credit as there are few reasons an anemone should die this quickly in a thriving system. If I do receive it, I'll save it for a fish or something, no more mail order anemones
