my rbta has been on the back glass of the tank for a week now. i hate it being there becasue i can't see it. sometimes i forget i even have a anemone. how can i get it to move to the front of the tank? when i first got the anemone it was in the front of the tank for weeks. than all the sudden when the clownfish strated to host it. the anemone moved to the back of the tank

just gently peel it off. turn the korillas off for a bit. place it where you'd like it and hope it stays put. these things can be a pitai had a gtba that would be somewhere different every time id wakeup go to work ect.

How big is the anemone? How big (( and what type )) are the clowns?

I wouldn't move it until you have a good idea of why it moved.

the anemone is about 3 inchs big. the clownfish is a percula and it is about 1 inch big. i think the anemone is not use to clownfish hosting it. so it is a new thing for the anemone

I think what Toddrex is saying is that you might have better luck if you can first try and determine why the anemone moved in the first place. Maybe where you originally had it had to much or to little flow, maybe to much or to little light etc etc. Its also very possible that it just crept to the back to be safe.

I have moved mine from the back glass but only because It was so close to the korilina. I used my drivers licence it works really well, you just have to go slow, really really slow you kind of tease it off. IMO if the nem is moving it is not happy about something. I guess it could be the fish??? Have you moved the direction of your power heads lately? Too much flow could make it move, so could alot of other factors like light ext.

Have you fed it since you got it? I know with mine if I forget to feed for a long time they will move.

You are sort of right -- that anemone isn't big enough, and the clown is stressing it, so it moved. Until the anemone is bigger -- I would like it to be at least 6 inches -- you are going to have an issue. I would try to find a way to keep the clown away from it. On more then one occasion I have seen clowns love anemones to death.

yea it is the clownfish. another reason why i know it's the clownfish because always when the clownfish host the anemone the anemone closes. and it opens back up when the clownfish get's out. the anemone hates when the clownfish host it. also like stated at the beginning the anemone moved to the back once the clownfish started to host it. when the clownfish wasn't hosting it. it always stayed in one spot in the front of the tank. now it is in back of the tank trying to hide/get away from the clownfish
