anemone powerhead stories?

Anyone have their anemone walk into a powerhead and survive.

Mine got caught up in my Maxijet this morning for about 10 minutes. The rest of the body is bubble except where it got hit. A tentacle or two went through the powerhead.

I had one that split and got caught in a MJ1200. There was very little on the outside of the screen, Iââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢d say less than 20%. I turned of the power head took off the screen and left the screen and the mangled anemone in the tank. A few hours latter the anemone freed itââ"šÂ¬Ã¢"žÂ¢s self from the screen and looked very bad. Now about 5 months latter looks good and healthy.

They can survive some pretty horrible situations. I recently had my RBTA go wandering into a Maxi jet 900. Dont know when it ran into it, but when I saw it, the screen of the powerhead looked like someone had rolled a small condom over it. I immediately shut down the powerhead and left it in the tank. the next morning, I had an unhappy looking RBTA hanging out underneath the powerhead. Its in the process of splitting right now, (sigh....I hate it when they do that), but appears to be doing fine otherwise.

4 days ago I found mine stuck to my power head. Today he is fine. I wasn't sure he was going to make it, but todo es bien ahora!
