Anemone problems

Yes the underneath of mine looks like yours. But I will have to remove it from where it has inserted its leg (in rocks) and move it to a sand area

I believe that's a haddoni as well. They don't need a ton of sand and will often stretch through rocks to get to it. But will be happier with their foot buried a little.

Haddoni are not -fond- of moving if they can help it, from what i've noticed in threads along here. They will if they really have to, but I'm thinking if they're decently protected and getting enough food they wont. Not sure though, I'm not experienced with them.

I had placed it on the rocks were it is, as I tought it looked good, but I didn't know they preferred sand. And regarding to the food yes it's being fed pretty well about 2-3 times a week as my clarkii steals pieces of octopus/shrimp/muscles I feed my snowflake eal and rushes to his anamone to feed it, I for food she is over fed for sure. :-) about location should I replace it on sand or leave it lone now. It doesn't open full like the pics you guys posted earlier, but I don't know if it has anything to do with the location...

I think you better move it to the sand.
