What I do like though is that his mouth is getting a bit tighter. Good sign.

Hi, this Morning the anemone looks even worse, the water is badly cloudy, looking white, even after a water change done late last night. The tentacles aren't sticky at all so i didn't try feeding it. As for flow it was a bit weak because it wasn't sticking to the bottom so it was slamming all around the tank. (I re increased it this morning as you noticed something was not good. As for the water, it isn't smelling that bad this morning... Have I got something else to try? :-/

Decrease flow...
Up Cipro back to 500mg.
100% WC's when water is milky.
Order Septra DS now for back up. Don't pick up the NEM. Don't touch it at all unless he gets flipped on his back. Gently turn him over.
Don't feed.

On 10th day...stop Cipro completely and start Septra. 1/2 pill per 10/G water.
Only if NEM hasn't improved.
Each tablet contains:
Sulfamethoxazole, usp............800 mg
Trimethoprim, usp...................160 mg
Fish Sulfa Forte is an effective antibiotic for the diseases of ornamental fish caused by gram-negative bacteria, including areomonas, and pseudomonas genera and mysobacterial group.
Dosage & Administration: Add one tablet (960 mg) into aquarium for each 40 gallons of water to be treated. Repeat in 24 hours. It is suggested that a partial water change be made between treatments. While duration of treatment depends on type and severity of infection, it is recommended that extended baths in the medication continue for a minimum of 5 days & for not more than 10 days. Discontinue treatment with this medication if no improvement is noted within 5 days. To remove harmless yellow color, change 20% of water and use charcoal filter until clear.
Caution: Keep out of reach of children. Fish Antibiotics or aquarium use only. Intended for ornamental fish and/or ornamental organisms, and not intended for use with fish that are intended for human consumption.

Can I find septra from a pharmacy for human use? Cause if I order from this website it takes about 3 weeks to arrive to me

It's time to give up. I tried, thanks for all the help from you guys but it wasn't meant to be. Probably I caught her too late. It was getting worse by the hour, and today it was defenitly decomposing. I learned a lot from you guys and I will surly be in contact if I need some help. Now I shift my attendion on my haddoni.

My haddoni? Mmm I don't know, it seems good, the tenticles are very sticky it eats, BUT as you told me its not in its ideal habitat so I will be moving it down on the sand, if not today it will be tomorrow. I am noticing it doesn't have tenticles around its mouth, it that normal? Now I'm trying to observe more of my creatures as the mag was a week sick when I posted it needed attension... Should I start a new tread regarding the haddoni?

Well, I never give up but I know your tired. If it were me, I would hit it hard with double the amount of Cipro and be aggressive and see if he'll respond. If not, he will die.

I really tried but today was the last of it, coz he was surly gone. He was looking more like a big onion ring rather than like an anemone trying to recover. :-( it's sad coz I almost believe I managed to save it at one point when it was responding good to meds. But all of a sudden when back to critical condition... Well, thanks a lot guys for the help especially yourself Jared! From this can I learn and stock some useful meds? For a reef system, anamones, fish and coral! Or I would end up like a pharmacy?

It is sad, I've lost anemones in my day, and know how sad it is. You tried much harder than I've had the opportunity to in saving one. This thread has been very educational for me, I had no idea we could even use antibiotics to save them.
I'm going to stock up on a few of the meds that we've been using on this thread, just in case, for when I get a nem!
Again - I'm so sorry for your loss - and great work trying to save it. I'd be done if I saw a nem looking like that too, and the cloudy water is never a good sign. It looks like if you touched it, it'd disintegrate.
That being said, as a last ditch effort, I'd try the 500mg dosage, and a 50% WC, to see if he responds.

Ha...that's how they say it in the hospital. I had a couple codes last night. Being a therapist, I'm a first responder to all code blues, and I'm on the rapid response team.
So yeah, my little mag is worse than yours and a piece fell off him when I moved him. I just dosed 500mg of Cipro and 250mg Septra. He's completely deflated. I took a pipette and inflated him. He perked a little.
