Hey all,
First off let me say I am in Milwaukee, WI so if you guys have any tips on great fish stores here or in the Madison or Chicago area, please let me know. They seem few and far between.
I have 2 ocellaris clowns that I have been trying to find an anemone to host with. I was looking in the direction of a ritteri (since a lot of online reading suggests it), but they seem pretty hard to come by.
My other concern is that these 2 have had an anemone before and I am worried they will stress out a new one and kill it. You can tell by their behavior alone, like even trying to back into the rocks, that they could be very aggressive toward it.
Basically I believe I am looking for something that will be very hardy but not the dark brown that I have seen around here.
This tank has been setup like the for 4 months with great water test results and no problems.
Thanks for all your help!
Zack
