Good food for sure. But be sure to turn up your skimmer. What they don't eat will rot and then you'll wanna have it out by then. Think of it like a big dose of phyto.

Wow! Nice tank! To be honest you might not need to. Your tank looks spot on and all that SPS may just eat it up. But I would wait for a second opinion since SPS is also sensitive to levels changing.

It looks like a male, with females you can actually see the eggs. The males sperm isn't as detrimental to your tank as when a female anemone spawns. Along with the eggs, a great deal of noxious material is released. However, males release noxious chemicals when they spawn as well and can be detrimental to your tank inhabitants. I would do a partial water change, put in fresh activated carbon and change it again tomorrow and skim wet (skimmers usually go wet anyway when an anemone spawns).

LOL yeah I thought the first picture was after it was over. GEEZ!! Thanks for jumping on board gary, by the second set of pics I was at a loss.

Im making water...i guess im going to bed late tonight.

ARE YOU KIDDING ME? I SHARED ALL THESE PICS AND EVERYTHING AND I ONLY GOT 1 POST ON MY MEMBER STANDINGS.....

Are you noticing that your corals look distressed? I wouldn't expect it to kill any of your livestock, but without doing the water change and aggressively skimming and using activated carbon, it might seriously harm some of your inhabitants. Because you have such a large tank, the spawn is diluted. In a smaller system I have lost a fish before--not the clownfish though. They don't seem as affected as other species.

LMAO! Hey when you first posted you were at 19. Up to 27 already it could be worse lol.

everything is open, sps polyps are all out! good thing i recently put a bubble master 250 on my tank! it looks like it's starting to slowly clear up!

does anyone know how often this could happen? I'm about to change over to a 180 and if this is a regular event i might not want the anemone and clowns?
