Anemone spit out food

Has anyone ever had their Anemones spit out the food it just put in its mouth?
Mine spit out the shrimp I gave it.

Yep. It's not hungry. Try again tomorrow. Mine just took 2 of the 3 pieces I gave it...I guess it ate its fill, because the third piece just got discarded.

What is the very best thing to feed it?

Diets vary, I change between shrimp and silversides. Make sure if you do feed it silversides you give it the whole thing. Some people cut of the heads, etc....it's not necessary.
