Anemone spitting up food

I have just perchased a green bubble anemone, and I can't get it to eat. Well it eats but it spits up its food about 11 to 12 hr later.
Does anyone know if this is normal?

How big are the pieces you're trying to feed it? Could they be too big?

If I feed my rose bowl too much, its eats some of it, spits it up and leaves it sit next to its mouth and I can usually find it munching on it at a later time

Have you tried feeding different foods? I know my RBTA loved scallops at first and then stopped eating them. Now I rotate it's diet between krill, silversides, mysis shrimp, and small scallop pieces. The bigger the food the harder it is for it to digest it. Numerous smaller pieces of meat seem to fare well with it.
