hello guys well this morning I find out that my anemone split in 2, its this good or bad? I only had it for 3 months and it seems to be doing great, all my water parameters are good, no nitrates, no ammonia, PH 8.2, salt level 1.025, tank its 1 year and 4 months old, here are some pictures thanks.

I was feeding it once a week

Two schools of thought here(bad pun)
Some feel that when in threat of death the anenome will split to save itself

Some feel that in ideal conditions such as being fed it will reproduce

It's a good thing when you look at the cost of it originally. When you get a number of them trade them in for a credit

My buddy has an 800/G and his RBTA's split so much in his tank that he literally asked how to kill them. Although I'm sure he wouldn't do that, but you get the point.

Well, most of the time a split is due to some sort of stress, a new tank/params, over feeding, or it can be from improper params.
Occasionally I see some BTA's that do just happen to split when they reach a certain age/size.
So if anything disrupted it, or it hit a certain age or size, I'd say no big deal, but if you are seeing constant splitting, you may want to check your tank params and make sure it's on the level.
