Congrats! When mine split my clown was very confused. Now she just uses both since they are so close to each other.

I just had a large rose split into two..and it's taken over a week for them to finally venture out. But then again, she was over 16" wide.
Just keep good water and light and you'll be fine. Congrats...we love our nems!

First of all, forgive my (poor) english! :hmm2:
I´d like to know if there´s some special technique to make the BBT split naturally (I know how to cut them into two halves, but I don´t want to do it).
I have a monster-giant green bbt, its oral disk is the same size of a (old) vinyl disk, but it simply doesn´t split! :thumbdown
hehee, the orange tip does not want to split by itself! :furious:
All the parameters are perfect, the tank is one year old... what can I do?

It's true, in many cases, probably most they split due to stress or less than ideal conditions.
Overfeeding is a common safe way to induce splitting.

Normal feeding varies, once to twice a week is a lil heavy IMO.
I'm sure if you fed it every other day or 3 times a week or so that may do it.
I would avoid silversides though especially doing this, bones may be just too much.
Shrimp or scallop would be my choice, some do krill.

Ok, thanks for the information. I´m going to feed them three time a week and let´s see what happen. My dwarves bbt split frequently, but the big ones... NEVER!:hmm3:
