anemone VS Koralia Evolution

Just got home from a weekend of camping and it would seem that our GBTA was inhaled by a Koralia Evolution which was running backwards.

I cleaned the powerhead and an unable to find the rest of him. checked in the sump filter and around the tank.

Checked all levels (API: nitrate, nitrite, ammonia - all 0 Salifert: KH - 10.9, CA: 400, Hanna Checker Phosphate: 0.0)

Before we left on Friday I put in fresh carbon and GFO.

This tank has been batteling dinoflagellates, as part fo that I just completed a 3 day blackout which was great, but not 100% - if possible I would like to continue skipping water changes.

All LPS look great. SPS are still low on color from the blackout. I do have some brownish growth on the sandbed which are likely the dinos.

Should I do a water change because of the GBTA? If it is in the best interest I will manage the inevitable flareup of the dono's.

thanks!

things still looking good. I'm going to vacuum the sand and go for the smallest water change possible, yet clear up the sand,

Mag...you crack me up! Houston, we have a problem....

This is a common problem with the Evolutions, isn't it? that they run backwards?

I've never noticed it with this powerhead. It has the updated plate in it. Might just need to be cleaned.
