Was wondering if anyone has done this. have a pair of mated clowns that i've had for 6 years now. I would like to try an anemone for them. Tank is 475 gallons. i do have a small Imperator Angelfish. Is this possible? Was looking at a sebae anemone. Any help is appreciated. Thanks.
Holy Cow , that thing's a monster!! I see you have a Kleins Butterfly in there too. Thanks for the pic. Nice Powder blue and Achilles. Got a powder blue also.
I had one that I raised from a small juvenile. When it was a full adult, it started taking small bites. Eventually, it started ripping at the BTA's with gusto. I had to re-home it. It was sad, as it was beautiful.
My old emp ate nems, I could not trust it with rics, zoa's,lps and nems. It even would munch on sps polyps. It was not as big as garys there, But close. Hungry fish! No matter how much i fed.
"Junior" (my Emperor Angelfish) has been in my reef aquarium for over four years now. To successfully keep such a fish in a reef aquarium is no mistake but the result of education, research and some luck!
My Emperor was introduced as a late stage juvenile/early emeging adult.
I didn't want to introduce an adult Emperor to a reef aquarium loaded with expensive corals so it was added rather early in the game.
Two RC threads show how I went about creating my reef aquarium:
