My anemones mouth is not centered, it's like it's located on the edge of one of it's sides. Is this something to be worried about? It is plenty sticky and has plenty of sting, the mouth looks good, as does the foot, and it has plenty of color. There isn't anything weird coming from it's mouth, and it has a strong anchor. Just thought it was weird, is it possible it's about to split in to two anemones? I decided to throw away the artificial anemones I had and try a real one again. I did a 50% water change a few days ago and topped her off with RO water. I also added about 15lbs of arag-alive reef sand to my existing 15lbs of crushed coral and 15lbs of gravel. I have only had the anemone since 01:00pm today. I drip aclimated it in a bucket for 3 hours and put it in the aquarium at 4:00pm. For those wondering I had gravel in it when it was a fresh aquarium, then it had Cichlids in it. That's how it ended up with gravel and crushed coral, and now has a mix of the three. I put my HO flourescent T-5's back on, two 10k and two actinics. And yes, I do plan on topping it off with RO and doing water changes with RO. My temp is at 79 degrees, ammonia is 0, nitrite is 0 and nitrate is almost 0. Thanks for any information you can give me.
