Anemones with Cucumbers

Is this a bad idea to put them together ? Does anyone with sand dwelling anemones have a sand sifting cucumber? If you have a cucumber with an anemone..how long have they been together? Thanks ..just doing some research. I use to have a yellow sand sifting cucumber and I loved how it kept my sand nice and white. So I want another one but I am not sure if it will be ok with my LTA. If it won't be ok with the LTA I'll just buy more conchs. At least if they get stung they won't nuke my tank. :p

I have a black one in with two LTA's. They've been together for well over a year with no problems. I've seen it go right through the tentacles of the anemone many times. YMMV though.

Thanks for the responce EC:) I want to get a tiger tail cucumber this time. Is there anyone else with a cucumber and anemones? Maybe I should do a poll for this to get more people to respond.:D

Many years ago I had a tiger tail, and during that time I had it with both a HUGE Sebae and then an average sized LTA. Never noticed any issues with it. Not sure what ended up happening to it though. :)

I am pretty sure that it died, since I didn't see it when I moved. :) This was in my 58, and it didn't crash my tank. I am fairly certain that tiger tails do NOT release any toxins.

Also, I just remembered that I had tried one in my 75 (( many many years ago )) and the trigger I had at the time took a shining to it, besides a dead tiger tail, no issues.

tigertail/sebae anemone for close to two years. they are often in direct contact all day. 6'100g. aquarium/dsb. the sebae may be H malu because it hasnt grown past 8". was the size of a golf ball when i got it. my previous H crispa went from ~3" - 15" within a year.

I have a Tiger Tail with a sebai as weel and it was in with a carpet before that, never had any problem, been together for over a year. I also have one with a couple of bta in a 29 biocube with no issues, they have been together for 3 months.
