Anenome and number of clowns

I am setting up a new 30 gallon long tied into an established system and want to do all bta's and clowns. I'm curious is it possible to add more than one pair of clowns to the tank? I'd like to do a number of anenomes and a handful of clowns if possible. Looking for feed back on if this is feasible and what type of clowns?

With only a 30g tank I'd only do 1 pair of clowns. You can do several anemones but the clowns will get territorial and claim that whole space as their own. What clowns and anemones did you have in mind?

BTA's for anenomes and something tank raised for clowns and not too aggressive for species. The BRS video was close to what I had in mind.

5-6 bubbletips won't be a problem in your tank but anything over a pair of any clowns will become problematic. UNLESS you were to get them all sub inch and of the same species. I'd only recommend occelaris or Perculas. But your tank will have issues with waste with anything over 6-8 IMO. If you have a sump you can add live rock to it and that will increase your bio filtration. I've got a 40b with 6 fish in it and soon to be 7 and I do have a lot of corals as well, but I also have a sump with quite a bit of lr in addition to what I've got in my tank. Your tank will dictate by water readings what it will support but I'd think over 6 in your 30 and you're pushing it. Just be ready to rehome fish if you start having issues

This tank will be tied into a system with 3 other displays (120,60 and another 30 gallon displays). Dump is a 125 with a large ATB skimmer so filtration should not be an issue. Question is how many clowns can I get by with.

Like I said before 2 will be more than likely all you'll end up with once the little ones mature and form a pair.

I think you would be fine with 6-8 clowns as long as you get them from a breeder and they are from the same batch. I have over 100 in a 20 gal tank for 10 months with no frayed fins or huge fighting. I dont suggest that many though, i just had medical issues and havent been able to bring them to the stores to be sold. So wasnt ment to be kept that long in that size tank.

Over 100 is a different story than 6 - 8. If the numbers are large enough they loose overview who to fight with, but if the number is small enough for them to form territories you will have fights.
