anenome problem?

Just took a close look at my long tentacled anenome today and noticed a wierd almost ribbonlike thing on the end of a couple tentacles. I have a large Gold Bar Maroon Clown pair that constantly bugs this and another anenome that lives close by.
Is this a normal behavior or is it something I need to worry about like an egg mass of some sort.

p.s. I messed with the color and contrast slightly to show the structure a bit better. I am also testing parameters today to see if something is up with that.

Looks like the tentacles have been physically damaged. I've seen this when clowns are too rough, too much flow (like directly in front of a maxijet) and especially when the anemone has been "remotely" stung. By that I mean that a nematocyst-laden strand of mucus landed on an area of the tentacles. Luckily, tentacle damage is minor and easily dealt with by a healthy anemone. If you don't have other cnidarians in the tank, it would rule out one of those.

Mine seems to kinda do this when i feed it.. but not near as bad as this. It is like one "Ribbon" and like 3 tenticals. However mine is also sick at the moment, bleached.

Thanks I was hoping it was a natural thing. It has a sister anenome nearby that could have stung it. I also just fed it the other day and maybe that makes the clowns more aggressive and harass the anenome more. The ribbon comment is so true my wife equated it to looking like ribbon candy this morning.

The clowns always seem to suck on the tentacles as well. I need to read more on setting the mood and get them concentrating on something else.
