Get some bottles and put hot water in it and float it. It will get your water up 1-2 degrees. I had my power out for 15hrs and just floated those in the tank. Had to boil the water on the grill LOL>
Thats such a crazy method scowii. Power outages are so crazy and unpredictable. But back to your question, it WOULD survive in 70ish water... as long as it doesnt go BELOW that.
It really depends on the species, some are quite tolerant of short term temperature drops. Condylactis, S. Helianthus, and E. quads(BTA) to say the least.
