Another grafted garret piece?

I see a different growth pattern on the left side.

Steve Garret has awesome corals, he usually brings a lil frag tank to the Scmas meetings full of suuuper nice sps! Pretty much wow. I want to tour his outdoor setup someday.

The Pieces I have seem from Steve are usually something that picked up another corals color rather than being stung or killed from touching.

I was reading this article yesterday about GFP infection. Looks to me like thats what it is... but im no expert

your correct, I snapped frags off this piece a while ago.

I'm guessing it was grafted by a bright green millepora, only other green coral in my tank. The graft started with two specs on the base, then began growing on the side i fragged. Not the most amazing since it's green on green, but still cool in my book.

I believe krucial is the one who picked up a frag from me.

The article about GFP infection seems to be in line with what you are describing.

What color was the coral to start with, another shade of green?

it started with what it looks like now, except it didnt have the streaks of highlighter green.

I've seen two others have this coral in their tank & they don't have the streaks.

Yeah two different corals I have the green jacket the top one. The other is a mili I believe he has now

Just kiddin ya, nice looking coral. I don't suppose you have any growth pictures? Whenever I go to rap or cfm Steve is one of the first booths I look for. His stuff is always worth checking out.
