Here's my latest kalkwasser reactor. It uses a maxijet 600 pump. Fits inside of an old 200gal Instant Ocean Salt Bucket. That way the reactor & top off water supply are in one container.
I use this one on a 37gal tank. At the moment that the photo was taken, I had just filled the unit. Normally the milk shake does not extend more than 1" above the top union.

My brother says I should put together a list & sell it on e-bay. He said people due it all the time. Make a list & sell it for a couple of dollars. :)

I don't have a list, it's going to require a router & jig to make the 1/2"t top flange that the 1-1/2" union half fits into.
All the pvc for the pump is 1/2".
You'll need 2 x 1/2" uniseals, 3" closet flange, a length 3-1/2" OD acrlyic tubing, a couple 1/4" tubing connectors for the top. Also some 3/8" or 1/2" acrylic to make the cap for the 1-1/2" union

The pump is on an Intermatic Digital timer, that is set to run for 3 min every 3 hrs.
I do this with all my kalk reactors.

Normally the milk shake does not extend more than 1" above the top union when in operation. I use a Tunze auto top sys that only adds a couple onces at a time.
