Ok, so I've been asked to organize another group buy. I have multiple sources I use for different led components. But, if anyone is interested heres some of the stuff I'll be purchasing...these prices are based on what the cost was on the last buy I organized. Shipping prices may be slightly higher depending on the amount of everything this time. Last buy totalled around $2500.

FEDY:
18000k-20000k white 220 lumen 3W - $1.27 + .07 for shipping ea.
450-455nm royal blue 2 chip 3W - $2.19 + .07 for shipping ea.
60 degree optic lenses - $0.15 + .07 for shipping ea.

Meanwell:
ELN-60/48D (up to 13 series & 26 parallel) - $24.19 + 1.70 s&h ea.
HLG-150/48B (up to 52 in parallel) - $73.51 + 5.15 s&h ea.
HLG-185/48B (up to 65 in parallel) - $77.30 + 5.41 s&h ea.

Dim4 LED controller:
Controls up to four channels @ 10V maximum. And slowly ramps the leds up and down to your desired light cycle. Eliminates need for
multiple timers and power cords. Works great with Meanwell drivers. - $85.00 + $5.00 s&h

3"x1" aluminum c-channel
Approximately $4.50/ft

I also have good sources for electrical components, such as fuses, resistors, terminal blocks, and potentiometers.
And I have different sources for other color leds such as pink, violet, red, green...etc.

For the FEDY stuff we have to hit a minimum of 100 whites, 100 royal blues, and 250 optics.

TanyaT is in for 40 whites, 20 royal blues, and 60 optics.

If you are interested I bought some 3x1 Uchannel at a place in Tampa last month for $2.05 per foot. 20'sticks only.

It's a great price. I looked from here to Fort Myers and it the cheapest I could find. The place is called Town and Country- 9808 E Broadway Tampa, FL- 813-626-7784. Its by I75&I4. They have 3x1x1/8 for $2.05 per foot and 2x1x1/8 for $1.62 per foot 20'lenghts only. I talked to Jim and they had plenty a month ago. Hope it helps.

Bump! Lets get another order placed so I can get some fixtures built for everyone that wants them built. :)

I saw today his 208 led build and its insane:crazy1::crazy1:. Its bright and the pink enhances the overall look. Go ahead and tease everyone by posting pics. He will definitely do my build. Im in!!!:bounce3::bounce3:

Well, here's some pictures. Doesnt do any justice for the look and brightness of the fixture though...

Blues and Whites on

Blues, whites, and pinks on. I will be changing the amount of pinks from 13 to 10 and adding 20 420nm violet leds. With the ratio of 26W/13RB/2P/4V it gives the look and spectrum of halides.

Heres the wall with the leds shinning across the room.

And the drivers and components.

Sent out a few more PM's about new qoutes requested. If you for any reason did not get the messages, just let me know. Thanks, Roger! Let's put a deadline for Wednesday by 8:00pm.

If not to late i am in for the following
80x 18000k-20000k white 220 lumen 3W
40x 450-455nm royal blue 2 chip 3W
110x 60 degree optic lenses

For everyone that sent pm's today...I will respond/send invoices tomorrow morning so be prepared. Sorry I didn't respond tonight. Late night volunteering at the pier aquarium...

Can someone not in your club/area get in on the action? I was thinking of just ordering directly from FEDY myself but i'd like to get more variety than just 100 RB's. IE some pinks and cyans as well, and maybe some actinics. Shipped to 58203 (like a flat rate box probably).

Also, does anyone have a datasheet or chip part number for their royal blues? Any experiences with the emitters that have built-in 60 degree optics? Those would seem to have a decent cost/convenience advantage over using external optics but I guess you do lose that protective lens.

If I can get in on it, I'd like 50 royal blues, 75 optics (60 deg i assume) and 25 18000k. Also would like a few pink, 660, 420 and cyan if that's feasable.
