Another lighting question

I recently replaced my stock Aquapod 12 hood (28W 10K, 28W actinic) with a 150 watt HQI Viper (stock 14K JBL bulb). So far. in terms of zoa coloration, I'm disappointed. Everything seems brownish. Any thoughts/ideas?

I have a 14k Hamilton (175w) over my 12g, and I think my Zoa's look amazing. You won't get the same fluorescence that actinics give, but I think you'll be pleased to see some of the color morphs that develop under the MH.

Thanks! Just replaced the 14K (150W) JBL with a 20K Hamilton yesterday on my 12gallon AP. No dramatic change in the coloration of the zoas so far, but I definitely prefer the overall look vs. the 14K. Kevin - thanks for the advice about giving adjustment time. Hopefully the zoas that looked so vibrant blue and red in in the photos will eventually look the same in my tank!
