Well my jaw fish some how managed to jump yesterday don't even know how he made it out witht the egg crate on but he did. That sucks I though for sure he was going to make it since he had been in there this long. Maybe naxt time I we should set up a security system to aleart of a breach :-) I am thinking all the cool laser stuff like you see in the movies :-) better luck next time I suppose.

Oh, man... that sucks, bro. Sorry to hear that.

I've heard they can fit through 1/2" blockades, such as 1/2" netting and egg crate. :(

Jawfish will be telling stories of Bill for generations to come. What a disparaging time in jawfish history.

LOL! Nice.

Yeah I know Zef still has his. I think the best bet for these fish is either in the wild or a tank with a glass top. i had the egg crate on and some how he still got through. Live and learn.

That's a lot of work, James. Why not just buy the netting? There's a guy on one of the "other forums" who is selling some. :)

trouble for me w/ doing the netting & aluminum window frame is i will have over the top returns to work around, so easier to make those cutouts in the acrylic "picture frame" & then lace accordingly

....kinda hard to do that w/ the alum frame & netting

I would think it would be about 6 one way, half a dozen the other. :)

You could use netting either way... wouldn't have to lace. That stuff is REAL easy to cut, you know. ;) :p

I've got a whole bunch of 1/4" mesh for covers that Jaw fish cannot fit through unless they tear It! I believe one belongs to Justin and there is more that others have not P/U yet either! As I will be going to the swap In Chattanooga, I will most likely miss the meeting at the Aquarium due to another commitment. Any one who I have mesh for Is welcome to P/U at my house.
Justin, Sorry you lost your fish I wish you would have gotten your mesh It would have made the difference of not having It jump.
It's too bad fish can't talk we might not like what they have to say though, The whole glass box prison and all!
Bill

Yeah I should have gotten the mesh. I really thought that the egg crate would have been enough. I can't say that I won't buy another one cause I really enjoyed him the for the week that I had him. The next time though the tank will be inescapable. :-)

Heh... that's neat. The problem with that vs. 1/4" netting is that they can still get through that, you just may be able to setup your RKE to send you an email when they do and also, 1/4" netting is also cheaper, especially this last order Bill did. :D

All I Reall want to know is when can we get a group order to get these fish again. :-) getting te netting so I won't have to worry about any jumpers :-)
