im sure Mr Frost is a nice guy and very helpful with his giving of nice frags and such for a great price , i dont know him at all ,, also sorry to read about the situation he is in ,, time for him to just step back take a look at whats in front of him and make the best he can with what hes got ,, work his way through it the best he can ,,,i went through the same thing a few years back when my job packed up and went to China. had to downsize on EVERYTHING. from gas to food to hobbies, no movies no nothing . it will all work out in the end.
 
Hey fellow reefers.Sorry for my 2cents ,but here it goes anyway:p I had the pleasure of talking to Fdfiremedic a couple yrs ago,when I had an add in the PD and was selling some corals that were overgrowing my tank.We talked and I had that feeling after our conversation that it was not about the $ but the love of the hobby,at the end it was like "whatever dude screw the $ and come over pick what u want from my tank than I'll go over your pad and pick what I want ",and we laught about it.As a matter of fact we talked about penny pinchers .He probably does'nt remember me ,but thats not the moral of the story lol.My lazy bunz just never got to it.As a club its nice to get a couple of $ from another since this and that is'nt for free.But personally I get that warm feeling when my guards are down and its about sharing whats overgrowing, pestoring ,or in the way in your tank,:inlove: and yeah,yeah I need that(even when you dont)I had a pleasure of meeting Frost and sold him a couple of zoas and gave him some things that I was going to give away anyways,(I hope your not selling those toad stools that I gave you ),If you are who cares,lol He seemed like a nice likable kid. If you can get a couple of $ for them than do so.Hey if I would have the patience to wait for all the people that said they would come,or hold this for me,ect. I would be rich.Lets face it there are lots of bull crappers out there,First come first serve is what I tell people.I practically give my stuff away then give some for free as part of that deal.I see both the love of the hobby and comradery in the club and a way to make a couple of $.If I have stuff that is in demand and will sell, and I will flush down the toilet anyways(toad stool,ect..)Hey more power to you bro.I think everyone had good intentions here but didnt see eye to eye on some issues.Dont get me wrong I'm a greedy mo fo but to lazy to persue money.:confused: After a while you find out it aints abouts the moneys.thats why we are C-sea.Frost everything will be ok bro,just keep the faith up,I'll keep ya in my prayers ,from what I see you're a hustler(good quality)and you'll do ok.Peace out bros.

Hopefully my Final statement on this. My issue is not with Frost and his character as a person. He was nice and polite at my house and seemed like a good guy, even offered his help. My issue was it upset me to see my deal to him not being passed back along (3 times my price is not a fair deal for fellow club members). It seemed to me to be for selfish gain. Maybe he didnt mean it as he states and I believe him,but it was to just say enough already and stop using the club as his personal business!!!!!

Fragging your tank to help support the hobby. Have at it. It is a huge help in bringing in extra cash to stay in the hobby. It's helped me for years. Thats what made my tank so nice is the frags I was able to get from other members. Believe me I give enough away as well. It's gotta be a FAIR give and take.
 
ive never taken anything without giving some, except to one person. budman gave me some cheato when i was first setting up my fuge and i was greatful, then he surprised me with anthilia at the last meet, dude i owe you some. CeasarIM man it's good to hear from you, i never had a chance to fully thank you for your corals and the micro bristle stars are all over my tank and very much apprieciated. that toad stool was in the center of my tank for the longest time. its on the side now and im fraging it because it IS BIG. i didn;t remember your sn so now i do. murph, i hope you got my pm about our nem zoa trade because i would love to get my hands on those. and you can chose any zoas from my private collection. budman if you still want some mushrooms i can cut you some. sean, i can get you 40lbs of rock of your chose. if youwant more i can accept frags. looking for mostly softies and lps.

i don't mind having this thread up because it shows me what i need to fix or who i can make things right with if i did anyone wrong.
 
Got ya Frost ,, i still have a bunch ,,,your welcome to one. tonight was not good for me ,,,feeling a bit under the weather.. if you have a zoa frag you want to swap ,,way cool . i posted them for free and ill stick to that ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, but i wont flush any zoas you bring !!!!

fire and ice bro ,,,set a small frag aside of them,and we will get together soon and swap them out ,,,, hang in there buddy ,,some of the best of times end up coming from the worst of times ,, things will get better in time.
 
for your bad weather, try the triple threat, vitamine C, garlic, and ecchencea<purple wild flower> three times a day for the next three days and you'll feel nothing close to being sick
 
FD somehow my post count makes my point invalid? I don't get that. My point is that you sold the rock. You didn't put any stipulations on it when you sold it. You most likely thought that AZ was a GREAT guy when he showed up, paid cash, and left. At that point it is his to do whatever he wants with it. Then you call him out. You certainly we not "taken advantage of or ripped off" and neither is the person that CHOOSES to buy from him. How long after you sell something do you retain the rights to decide what the seller does with it?

FWIW, i sent three people to you for the 66O ballast? But my opinion doesn't count until I get ????post count.
 
It wasn't your post count. I was saying seeing that it was low I assumed you were more of a newbie. As that I was saying if you knew more of us maybe you wouldnt have those previous thoughts of making a profit on your fellow reefers. Thats all. By the way Pescado you are WAY MISSING THE BOAT HERE!!!!!!!!

This is starting to get carried away so let it be. Whats done is down and Frost knows.
 
thanks pescado amigo for standing for me, friends like you are charrished and i understand where your comming from as well. as a business owner like your self you see profit as a way to keep a living, i'm just trying to survive until i get back on my feet.
 
we as members of this club are not in this clube to take advantage of the clubs generosity. i appreicitate all that this club has done for me and in return i will pass along the generosity when my situation allows me. i dont take things for granted and i do beleive in karma. i do believe in sowing and reaping
 
The holidays is coming in a couple of days, can't we all get along?? :). I didn't bother reading everything that was said but I have one thing to say. You guys are some emotional people. I am not trying to rub anyone the wrong way. If everyone would just count to 10 and let it go, we will all have a great thanksgiving :).
