i've had them 5-6 months.. the more dominant one has started changing color pattern, i suspect turning into a male... i'll have to try to get some newer pics of him, there's a big difference between them...
they hide in the rock alot, but i've added 2 hi-fin cardinals to the tank with them and the "male" seems to venture out a bit more...
i will be getting some more pics tomorrow, the new ones i got in are doing great so far, they are all eating frozen and im going to be adding some pellet food soon soaked in garlic
here are more ignitus pics, these ones are like a totally different species...they eat brine twice a day and they eat their fill of it! they dont stop eating and they are always active and arent skiddish like my old ones were, i think i have a few that are a cross between ignitus and dispars, they have dispar tails with the ignitus dorsal fins, i will try and grab a pic of those ones tomorrow
a male was displaying today and it really was incredible, i dont even think any of them are through their full transformation to supermale yet but i cant wait till one of them are, actually i pretty much have 7 one of them was banished to the outskirts of the right side of the tank, i found a buyer for him though so everything will be ok for him, but my midas blenny seems to like being part of the school and swims with them all the time
I want to get a couple anthias for my tank, i want something smaller, but with a lot of purple in it, and something that isn't too difficult to feed/take care of.
