Anthopleura xanthogrammica - Giant Green Anemone

Has anybody on RC tried to keep Anthopleura xanthogrammica, the Pacific Giant Geen Anemone?
Lighting?
Water temp?
Success?
Failure?

Thx Gary, I checked out that guy's CW tank. I am looking for someone with first hand experience ...and I figured RC would have somebody.

While a few RC folks keep coldwaters, and some in my local club are more in the temperate range, it is not a large percentage of the RC community.

They are quite interesting projects though :)

Many of the cold-water anemones that you see have much simpler care requirements than the clown hosting anemones. They are voracious predators though.

They are virtually indestructible if you maintain a temp no higher than mid-50's F. A couple PC bulbs is sufficient for normal photosynthesis to occur. If fed, they will do fine with minimal (or even no) illumination, but will slowly lose their color from loss of zooxanthellae...

I made a trip to the MN zoo last weekend and they have a very cool surge tank with cold water nems. They must be hardy, because this was a petting tank! I don't think they were carpets, more like sea dahlias, but the red ones were stunning.

They probably have much slower metabolisms than the clown hosting anemones and this probably has something to do with it.
