Any BTA whisperers?

So bought a bleached bta. He's been without light for 3 days (only actinics). Was under kessils that were real close to him (I believe LFS said 390 series.) anyway. Halide is on and has been on for 4 hrs. (250w 10000k). Nem is 18" deep in water with halide 12" above tank. I've got 2 fibreglass window screens between halide and tank.

In the past 2 hrs BTA has moved about 1/4". Think it's heading for shade? I can add up to 2 more screens.

Does the foot or bubbled tips tell any stories as to the happyness (or lack thereof) of this bleached and (probably) dying Nem?

I'll add that he's quite contracted. His tips are bubbled but his overall size in the pic is probably 50% of what it COULD be is he was opened right up.

Bah.... He's on his way out. Only a small piece of his foot is hanging on to a rock now. I'll give him till I'm done work today and unless he's looking "better" I'm gonna pull him out.

And now he's on the sand bed....

I didn't expect much out of this thing cuz it was so bleached.... That being said... It really didn't stand much of a chance CHOOSING to hang under a rock the first few days lol. Maybe I'll toss him in my QT tank when I get home if it's still alive on the sand bed. That way when he does die he won't destroy my main tank and I could at least wait till the bitter end to toss him down the toilet.
