any computer guru's here?

I'd go with the Antec 900 Two, they even sell it locally at BestBuy for $130 which will save you a lot in shipping.

I owned the previous model, the Antec 900, and it was a GREAT case. Super quiet and it kept everything cool. I had my Core2Duo 3.0 overclocked to 3.8 with ease in there, plus a very overclocked GTX 8800 Ultra which ran super hot yet because the case moves so much air everything was able to stay nice a cool.

I'd definitely buy it again.

I'm not big on flashy lights so non really appeal visually to me but I would have to say either recty's recommendation or the first coolmaster due to them making decent fans.

Yep, I meant the Two. They have it for sale at Bestbuy locally, either $130 or $139. I see Newegg says originally $139.99 so that's probably what Bestbuy has it for as well.

I could care less about the flashy lights, that isnt why I bought the case. With that said, they dont look bad, it makes the case looks kind of cool, but I'm not buying it for the lights.

It is big without being huge, it will hold a full size motherboard and a large graphics card with ease. The power supply mounts on the bottom, not the top, which I really like. It also has a huge, slow spinning and therefore quiet, 200mm fan at the top of the case where the heat rises too and it moves it out.

I really overclocked everything I could in my last setup and the Antec 900 kept it all at great temperatures, I really really was impressed by the case and it was quiet too.

The side panel has a spot you can hook a 120mm fan as well, which with the motherboard I had helped blow air in from outside the case directly onto the CPU and the about halfway over the graphics card, I think providing "fresh" air directly to those components is a great thing.

That fan is optional though, you dont NEED it for sure, even if you overclock.

yeah, don't have the list here...but it's a pile of boxes on the floor at my house. Might try the build this weekend once I make sure I have all the parts. My one fear is not being able to use the after market cooler since the RAM is tall. I am gonna dry fit it first and see. I was also thinking about something. I guess I'll need a wired Keyboard and mosue for the intital setup, no?

I did get the Antec 900 two, the i7 930, the Gigabyte (GA-X58A-UD3R) mobo, 12GB G Skill RAM (2 sets of 3x2GB), NVIDEA Video card (GT 250 1GB DDR3), a Corsair 750Watt power supply, and WD HD's (3 - 2x500GB, 1x1TB). The cooler was the xxx 212 or something like that.

cool.. hope that cooler fits for ya. yea i think you'll need a wired mouse and keyboard. i have never tried with a wirless one but in my head it would seem there couldn't be any drivers on the comp if there is no OS. but there is a possibility i am wrong.
