Any riders in the group? - Blending two great passions

Yesterday I took a ride on the motorcycle up to ABC Reefs and it was a great trip. But, it was missing something... other riders. I enjoy group riding and the idea came to mind to see if there are other riders out there that would like to do a day trip and travel head out to some semi-distant fish store.

Anyone?

I rode for seven years until I did an internship rotation on a spinal cord injury unit at Long Beach Veterans Administration Hospital unit. Eighty percent of all new admissions were for motorcycle injuries. Consequently I sold my crotch rocket. I figured that when my daughter is grown and on her own I would eventually ride again. But until then....not. I do miss it sometimes: especially on a beautiful spring day.

Yeah...I rode for about 4 or 5 years myself...once I got married and bought a house I sold it.

I know I'll get one again someday, but right now with the baby and stuff time is very slim. Plus, when I had mine I think I was averaging about 500 miles a year and some of that was back and forth to the shop for my yearly inspection.

Sorry to hear that you're not riding anymore. What kind of bike did you have? 500 miles? I have more than that racked up so far this year. LOL. I average about 7K each year.

I had a Suzuki Katana...nice comfortable bike...just didn't get out.

Someday, I'll get back to it.
