Man, it so sad to still see my true percs floating on top of the water near the koralia during nightime. Its been three days now and they completley ignore the rbta. The female hosts in a hammer during the day. When will they head toward the anemone?

thanks

I'm in the same boat as u, tried everything possible. Although 1 of the percs was in the rbta monday night since then he hasn't touch it again. Still hoping he will return soon.

Had the same issue with a tomato clown that prefers a flower-pot coral to anything else, then his 2nd choice is frogspawn instead of an anemone!!!!

I was thinking almost about using a another tank....with only the clown and anemone inside to force them to be friends.... once they get close and casual then move em both back??? Seems like a lot of trouble but I think it might work, the completely bare tank with only a little sand will make the clown search for somewhere to hide.

I have that setup right now in a 15g tank. I divided it in half, 1 side has a pair of true perc and the other side has a pair of ocellaris. The perc has 2 rbta in their side but has ignore it. They hang out by the return pipe, nothing else is in there. Gonna get another rbta soon to try with the ocellaris.

go buy a laser pointer and get the fishes to chase it.. once you get thier attention you can lead them right into the nem.. i used this trick to lure my tomatos into my GBTA... once they knew it was more comfortable in there they stayed...
give it a try
