Any video of feeding SH using a dish?

I have read of many using a feeding dish to feed their SH. When I had some SH in the past- I tried to feed them in a dish. I tried- but the mysis just floated up to the surface. So this did not work. From what I read, people pour them (mysis) in a tube into the dish- sounds as easy as pouring out dry kibble for cats and dogs. So how is this done?? let me know if there is any video on this subject I can watch.

you have to soke them in saltwater. also you can use a turkeybaster because it will shoot them everwere.

I use a feeding bowl and it really is great. I added some hitching posts to the side so they have places to hang onto when feeding. It is a big success and they took to it straight away.

Don't think i have a vid but this is it before i added it to the tank

I did find this quick vid. Not very good but the female was eyeing the food up before she became camera shy.

Paul, with the true captive bred, and in many cases surviving tank raised seahorses, it's found that they WILL in many cases, eat from a dish or from the seahorse bottom. I have seahorses that will do both, and seahorses that won't do either.
If one was talking wild caught then your comment definitely would apply.
It can even be a problem at times where a seahorse snicks a piece of food that has rested on the bottom for some time and has bad bacteria growing on it already and transfers the bacteria to the seahorse digestive system.
Another great reason for maintaining excellent tank husbandry.
Myself, I add the food to the water column after turning off the sump pump and filters, leaving a micro power head in each tank to keep the mysis in motion for as long as possible. Any uneaten food I siphon off once a day minimum.
