Anybody checking here from NWI?

I see alot of guests on our seperate forums at www.nwimac.org but few new people ever register. I also see alot of views whenever we post announcements here, but likewise no posts. If there are people out there in our area that are looking to get to know fellow reefers and have a resource of people to draw upon for help in this hobby we would really like to hear from you. The NWIMAC is working to create a freindly environment for people to get together and share knowledge about our wonderful hobby, but we are having troubles reaching many of the people that we know are out there. Anyway, I hope to hear from some of you soon.

I wanna build on top of what Mike said, we would love to have many more members, the more members we get, the better we all learn from one another, plus I'm sure our wives are sick of hearing about our obsession, so we are here to lend an ear for your wives and g/f's or men (ladies)!!!!

actually I am sitting at work with no work to do, and since I get an email everytime one of my topics gets replied to I knew you had just posted. Since I dont get to leave when my work is done I just sit around and surf the net.

I leave sometimes when I am soo fed up I can't take it anymore, kinda like today. Stopped at the Ark on the way home. Nothing good, except the elegance, it may have been a torch in their display. I didn't bother asking how much, prolly would have taken forever if it even for sale. I just blasted right past CC.

Well Tom told me yesterday at the Ark that he didnt get any new corals in because he was installing a new sump on his coral tanks. Of course my 5 year old then went about busting his new sump as he left it laying in the middle of the fish isle and she tripped over it. Sorry to say that she cried for about 30 minutes because of the huge scrape on her knee.

What ended up happening to the sump? Has anyone ever been back there behind the scenes?

ya know, I didnt see. I didnt see it happen because I was walking around looking for my kids. I heard the crash and heard my daughter yell out and then I found them half way to the door. Since I was ready to leave anyway we left. I didnt say anything to Tom, but I probably should. Honestly I was upset that my daughter was hurt and crying. My older daughter told me what happened and she said that Tom snapped at them about how he couldnt turn around for 60 seconds and now it was broke.

Thats BS. Why is yelling at kids when he's the guy who left a CLEAR box in a walkway.

yeah, thats my point. Like my 5 year old did something wrong. She was holding my older daughters hand even as they walked. I know sometimes owners get mad when you dont watch your kids, but she didnt do anything wrong. It isnt like she tried to climb on it. She just turned the corner down the fish isle looking up at the fish tanks. Stuff like that should be done after or before hours so that accidents dont happen......
