Anybody ever seen Xmen Paly's?

You might just want to post an image, vessxpress1, RC doesn't usually like ebay links :) I have seen them though, Ultimate Frags has them from time to time...awesome palys!

I didn't know they don't like ebay links. I'm not trying to break the rules but just curious what the problem is? My user name here is my ebay user ID. It's not me selling them and I think they're going to get rediculously high priced personally. It's easier to post a link than add that pic to my already cluttered photobucket account. Don't mean to break the rules though.

But yeah, I'd like to see possibly more of these, under different types of lighting. Would be very interested in a small frag as long as it didn't cost a day's pay. Maybe they're worth that. I don't know. They are really cool. I'll have to see if I can find that guy here. thanks.

mschiskim have them they are awesome

Found 'mrschriskim' on page 159 of the 'M's but no web page or gallery pics.

I think that much for a few polyps is nuts!! No matter what the zoo is...ya never know if they are going to die or not..

I like to try to buy full colonies, or at least a rock they were naturally on that was broken into a few pieces.... I dunno if its the case..but seems to me they'd be healthier that way...then a few polyps that were torn from a colony and super glued to a disc...

But..yeah..they are nice looking

X-Men Palys aka Lunar Eclipses they are one in the same. It seems that a lot of people here in Cali have them now. Here are mines. I wonder if they are harder to come by on the east coast.

Hmmm, ultimate frags sells them for 25.00 a polyp. Guess I better get in tune with the times, and recognize a good deal when I see it! lol Seriously, I have a REAL hard time trusting any auction on Ebay that is not a WYSIWYG auction. I bet the one's they send would be microscopic. Could be wrong.
Like you said you never know if a small frag will make it. I had some of these mint green (forget what they're called) zoos and they just didn't make it in my tank. I don't know why. Didn't make any sense. All the rest have. You just never know. I don't think they're going to care what you paid for them either.

I wouldn't mind paying good money for nice zoos but it's the shipping that kills you. That's what really turns me off in the end unless I'm at least getting a nice 10-20 polyp piece.

Maybe. That auction's the first one's I've seen. Hope some of these start drifting east though.

Yeah..shipping can be a pain. I like to get a few friends w/ saltwater tanks to go in on an order with me to make free shipping sometimes...

Every once in a while I'll break down and pay shipping... if its a piece i really like and I can't find anyone else that wants to order...but more often than not..I just throw more corals in to get the free shipping...I'd rather have my money go to more corals...than shipping.

I don't have those, but I want to say that the seller is awesome to deal with. Got a few of the Toxic Avengers he was selling, and I was pleasantly surprised that they looked just like the pic he took. He cut me a deal for them as well- super nice fellow.

x-men palys for $25 are the EXACT same thing as lunar eclipse palys at atlantis for $12-$15/polyp.

you get get colonies of 50 polyps for $40 if you know what LFS to look at. as they come in cheaper than that whole sale.

so if you think about it...those places that sell them for over $5/polyp are making a killing on gullable reefers.

Not sure about the color on that ebay auction for the X-men. Looks photoshopped to me...

They are nice palys though. Have seen them. Awesome!

I have some X-men's and they are not photochopped in that picture. You should be able to find it at most fish stores in the bay area for about $75 a colony with 30 plus polyps.
