Anybody have Locline pliers?

I've got one connection I can't get together (older joints, they are more rigid then new ones) and I'd love to borrow someones pliers if anyone has some. Wouldn't even need to leave with them!

I don't have the right pliers Matt, but I can tell you a trick or 2 that usually gets them together. You can put a piece of all-thread or a dowel rod through both pieces to keep them lined up and you can push harder without having to worry so much about breaking something. Also, you can boil both pieces for a few minutes which softens up the plastic and put them together while they are still hot because they will cool off and be rigid again.

Oh, good idea Terry, the dowel idea sounds like it would work well by keeping them aligned. I'll give these both a shot, hopefully tonight. Thanks!

I dipped both ends into about an inch of boiling water for 30 seconds and voila, they popped right together. Thanks Terry
