Anybody into Koi?

I have a friend who's father past away Christmas Day...
His Dad had a Koi Pond, and his mother cannot take care of it.
No Idea what the setup is worth, just thought I would put it out there, if you know of anybody who knows about this stuff please let me know.

I've had koi for 20 years. I used to have a 2000 gallon in ground pond I built. Then a 1000 gallon above ground "pond" I built. Now just a 200 gallon tub.

That said, I bet CoralFarmer is a lot more up to date and familiar with today's prices and values.

I have a 10,000g koi pond at my parents house..If I was them I'd just try to unload the fish rather than selling them so that none of them die waiting in nasty water conditions since they dont know how to take care of the pond

Thanks Bamm Bamm, they called someone out of the phone book to take care of the pond while they search for a new home for them.

Right on glad to hear that I hate to hear of fish suffering in times like this since it's usually the last thing on people minds after suffering the loss of a loved one..lmk if you have any questions or anything
