Anybody received confirmation their Black Friday orders have been shipped?

I placed an order last Wednesday and haven't received any confirmation my order was received and/or shipped. The order is showing on my Aquacave account page as received. Has anyone else received order confirmation and/or shipping confirmation? This is surprising considering I've already received orders from other vendors that were placed two days later.
 
I got an invoice but am still waiting on tracking info... i placed an order at their last 10% off sale and the shipping was sloooooooow. Small price to pay for a good deal though, in my opinion. Heck my orders from other vendors are already arriving.
 
I'm still waiting as well. They had called me about one of the bulbs I ordered, they had run out and were going to receive more this past Tuesday.
 
I still haven't received an order confirmation and it is now 9 days into the order. I sent an email to customer service and they haven't responded. It looks like this order is a bust. I've ordered from this vendor a few times in the past on small things but took a gamble on something more substantial to save a few buck over my traditional vendor. Lesson learned. I don't mind waiting for product to be shipped especially this time of year but the lack of order confirmation and communication is just not acceptable.
 
I ordered lights, received a tracking number......I'm hopeful they will be here today or tomorrow. However, I think these are drop shipped from AI, so might be different then if coming directly from AquaCave.
 
Still nothing here either. I had two separate orders that I placed at the same time. I ordered an apex on a different card at the same time and it arrived days ago, and my second order hasn't even been charged yet. The second order had an ecotech product in it and I have a feeling that's what's causing the problems.
 
Just got the phone call saying they couldn't discount the ecotech product which is why the order hasn't shipped
 
I placed an order on Thanksgiving day and I received the invoice Weds, 11/30. I placed another order on 11/27 and received a call on 11/29 indicating that a couple of the items were on backorder.
 
just got off the phone with these crooks after getting my invoice. they said they was out of the ai sol blue in black that i ordered, so they was just going to send me the white one???? lol this is crazy! then i told him i dident want it and he said he could ship me some spray paint so i could paint it black! are you kidding me? reef central should really monitor who they have listed as trusted vendors. needless to say i canceled my order. now there is no black friday discounts and im screwed on my other stuff. the guy was kinda rude to me and it sounded like toward the end of the conversation he started acting like he was crying because i told him they are a joke and im never ordering from them again. BEWARE! GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!
 
I have kind of steered away from Aqua Cave after several issues. Last order, they were out of one item and offered to issue me a store credit for the item they couldn't ship.

I never heard of someone offering a store credit instead of refunding something they didn't even have in the first place.

Just too many red flags over a long period of time.

You know what this really disturbing that you would post such a comment. You said that Aquarium Specialty have it and they are giving you the discount that you wanted. You calling us crooks? So we cancelled your order. Thanks we appreciate your business.
 
jr casteel 1999: it sounds like you and the Aquacave CS had a go at each other and it escalated. Attitude begets attitude.

This has definitely *NOT* been my experience with Aquacave. I've ordered from them about 4/5 times and never had a problem - except for a broken lightbulb (which was actually my fault). With this most recent order I did get a message about a back ordered bulb (wouldn't be available for 2/3 weeks). I called them a couple of days later (to have them substitute the backordered bulb and spoke to Rico (I believe). He promised to call me back which he did not do. No big deal as I was pretty certain they would be busy. Called the next day and spoke to Elana who performed the substitution; invoice and tracking came later that day. So what had the potential to be a negative experience became an overwhelmingly positive one.

So to respond to the OP: yes I do have the invoice and tracking # of a Black Friday order.
