Anybody seen a BTA like this?

Don't know if I've ever seen one like this. Hope it really looks like the picture when it gets here.

Show us a picture when he get to you. Nice looking color but he is somewhat contracted so the color should be more intense/concentrated in that picture. You never know how some of these mail order place photoshop the pictures also

I have one that looks very similar. When its retracted like that its color is almost identicle to the picture and very concentrated like Orion was saying. When its expanded its a really bright pink on the tentacles and as it gets closer to the oral disk the tentacles turn a really cool green color. Good looking nem

Yeah I'll put some photos up when I get it. I bought it from Bluezoo and they don't seem to alter their photos from my previous experiences with them. It should get here Tuesday next week.

Most of the time they won't arrive looking like their online photos. They'll be stressed from shipping and can take weeks/months to regain their color....if at all.

If healthy, I'd assume that the pink color will develop into more of a red color. Pink BTA's are just bleached RBTAs

Not always true. There are plenty of pink BTAs as well. I used to have a speckled pink BTA and it was perfectly healthy.

Well it showed up today. Here it is about 5 minutes after acclimation.

It's rather small but should expand out when it settles in.

i have a feeling when this anemone acclimates, grows out its tentacles and fills in a bit with zooxanthellae, you will probably have a rose similar to this:




hopefully you will get lucky and it will be far more orange.

It's not the pink and green that make this BTA interesting. It's the yellow. Looking forward to seeing more pictures as it settles in.

I have a frosted rainbow that looks like that but mine is more orange and pink with purple tips

I have a feeling that original picture was a RBTA losing its color or bleaching a bit. Iv'e seen a few of these exact colors before. They are almost peach looking.
