Anybody seen this happen to their Milli

Did it get stung? The coral to the right in the first picture is very aggressive and could have done it.

Yes. At first signs of no plup extension, from any of my millis, I checked all perimeters Alk was super low @ 6 and so was the Mag 1100, but Calc was @ 500+. I believed this swing was due to me changing the media in my calc-reactor. I was useing large pores ARM but switched to the large rock like ARM.
Used Brightwell Products to raise Alk and Mag. I also switch out the calc media to the original stuff I was useing. Took we about a week and a half to get everything settled. Alk 8.5, Mag 1330, Calc 430. It has been steady for the last 5 weeks and I have yet to see any improvement. I think it's getting worse, the tips seem to be deteriorating.

No the letuce coral is more in front of it, about 2 inches in between.

That Pavona coral could easily reach the milli in question. Their sweeper tentacles can be several inches. However since you said it happened to all you millis, its not that. Sounds like a water quality issue. Good luck.

Yea all my milis have been effected. I had a small frag of Midnight Blue Milli and it ended up rtn over night. I have a couple other millis as well all with no plup extension but my Pink (pictured) has seem to be the most effected.
Was running a Phos- Reactor. Thought that might have been the issue. But I took that off line 4 weeks ago. I use TM-Pro salt with DI water from my work, a pharmaceutical company, so I know it's clean.
People say a pic is worth a thousand words, so I'm hoping someone has seen this same type of deterioration in their milli. And can tell me what was the culprit? Or how they saved it. And if I have solved the problem what is the time expediency for a turn around of this coral or if I should cut my loses and chop it down?

It may take a long time to recover just be patient and keep the parameters consistent.

As the other Neal said it will take time, a few months even. How fast did you raise the alk and mag? If you raise it to fast you can do more damage then the low alk and mag alone will do. If raising alk from 6 to 8.5-9 you should do it over about 2 days. I also think that cactus coral could sting the milli but you said all millis are effected so that rules that out.

Probably just the Alk Swing from 6 to 9. large swings like that will put a toll on the more sensitive sps corals. I have had bleached colonies take up to 3 months without getting their full color... thats with alk at 9 and metal halides and t5 sups.
