Anybody want RBTA's?

I made the mistake of "dumping" the leftovers from my prop experiment into my display tank 6 months ago.

Now I am overrun. Time to get them out.

If club members want a few I will take reservations and over next few weeks and try to get them out without destroying everything. Whatever you dont want will go to the LFS to be sold for the big $.

I have probably 10 small, 2-3" across and maybe 6 bigger, 4-8" inches across.

Small $25, Bigger $35.

heh. Theres nothing in that pic for scale, but thats a mass of anemones at least 12" by 12".

I'll try and take a pic of whole tank. Left side is completely overrun.

Funny, when I was trying to prop them they grew soooooooo slowly. Now they are exploding. I guess they like the 4x400 mh better than the home depot shop lights.

How established of a tank do they need? I'm interested in one but my tank is pretty new - finished cycling but nothing added yet. I was told by another member that its best to put them in before corals so that they can settle in one spot and not sting everything in their path while they get their.

No problem. Got plenty. I'll set aside 2 for you. you want smaller or bigger?

jejton, i dont think youre ready yet. i'd wait at least six months until you get your routine and parameters stable. the nems are pretty bullet-proof (i propped in 30 g tanks with only bubble filters and home depot shop lights), but better not to rush probably. (i'd also recommend waiting one year for sps)

ok thanks for the advice. i wasnt planning on getting nem's or SPS anytime soon but I'm trying to get an idea of when it would be appropriate to start. I plan on keepign mostly LPS and softies anyhow.

Fish Finder- I'm gonna set up a prop tank this week and try and start getting them out. It wont be this weekend for sure, I'm not leaving this part of town with all that traffic.

Lets all plan for next Sat (5/31) early am (10) at aquahut, assuming I can get them all fished out.
